This afternoon I chatted with my other two friends here and I really had fun time talking with them using voice chat. I am really happy to know they are doing great job while having fun in their respective workplaces now. We talked with a lot of things such as lovelife, family, and travel experiences. I spent a few coins but I enjoyed my time in the netcafe.

This afternoon, I went online and chatted with some friends and I came to know that they are also very interested to follow after me here. They are now processing their papers to work here and I hope to see them all soon! Whew indeed! Now, I am far more excited than when I was about to go to Hong Kong last year. Speed up your applications my friends!

Two days ago we got an invite from our colleagues in a city nearby and we stayed over their apartment for two nights and two days. We spent the holidays with them and we really enjoyed each other’s company. On the first day, Anelie cooked “bihon” for the four of us and the other two guys liked it. Alex is a Ukrainian teacher who is really good at playing piano. Her interest in China and the people turned her piano career into an English Teacher which she really enjoys. As usual, Frank is the first student who came here this morning and guess what,,,knocked and went in the teachers’ office just to give me a small pack of orange juice. Very sweet act from a small kid, This morning’s Grade 2 class so fantastic! We really enjoyed the class with their parents watching them do the activities and games. My students really enjoyed my class [as I feel it,] and the parents had fun watching their child making the best to answer the mixed questions coz we were reviewing all the units of the Trinity book. Today is our last day of the Winter Course and I am happy and sad. Happy because it’s the last day and I can finally rest after such a very long wait for the Chinese New Year holiday. Sad because my class with my G2 students has ended today. I will surely miss those kids especially Frank, the outstanding student in class and a very smart kid. He surely can sit and pass the Trinity Test. Well, my class ended with a pat on my shoulders. All the parents and kids went home with smiles on their faces as they say thanks to me. I was so fulfilled and happy with those sweet words. Lastly, Frank said goodbyes and thanked me very many, many. It’s the way he said it though,

This morning despite the crisp cold wind and the heavy rain, we went to the nearest and the most convenient supermarket near our place – RT Mart. We bought some things for our dinner tonight with our coteachers – Danielle and Francis. Anelie will cook our dinner and of course my role is always the housecleaner,,,hehehe I did it this morning already.

This morning class was quite fun with the kids. At first I was worried a bit because only one of them came early – Frank, the smartest kid in my class. Every time I have this kid in my class, everything would be just right and definitely exciting. Whew! He is just the right motivating factor to have in such a boring class. I am glad to have him in my class. This afternoon the monitor asked me of how he is behaving in my class as well as with my other kids. I told everything – perfomance in class, behavior, and some recommendations for the parents to do at home with their child. After a few minutes, the monitor came inside the office and told me the parents’ feedbacks of their child. It was positive and I was happy to know that Frank is so eager to come to school. He even woke up early one Wednesday morning just to come to school early when in fact it was our day off here. Chuckles A pat on my shoulder indeed.

This afternoon is really fanstastic here. I got no class,,,heheh and all I have this afternoon is a training for interviews with the new students. I like the training with my DOS and I have fun in his training. He provided me everything I need to know for conducting interviews with students. I believe I must read more on those books I haven’t taught before. Moreover, I think I have to read the guidelines and try taking the level test one of these days. I am pretty much excited now to conduct interviews with our new students.

Today we had an hour of brainstorming and workshop with our DOS. We are now busy preparing for our winter course. These days has been pretty busy for all of us here at school. However, we won’t forget to have some good laughs after all our classes on weekends. In every moment we spend with our students, we always have something to learn and laugh at. This, they say, we are always good at – laughing in the midst of trials and crisis.

My stay here is most of the times boring and I would just hang around the nearest netcafe not to mind how time flies like soap bubbles. What am I doing in the netcafe? Of course, net surfing, reply and send some emails to immediate family and friends and other stuffs. Not to mention updating my blog accounts.

Indeed TIME is really fleeting. I can vividly remember the first time I came here. Heheh, all my adventures and everything. It’s one of the neat and dirty packages I was able to pass through. Now, I am almost done with my probationary period and hopefully I could make it through to more than a year to stay here. I am always excited whenever I think of HOME for I am always missing everybody at times I could not help but think of the sweet aroma of the home made dishes and the cozy feeling to sleep in your own room,,,on your own bed and personal space so to say. Well after all, I am just here passing by and I hope I could leave a beautiful footprint after I leave.
